Waxed canvas is easy to take care of. The ensure the longevity of the canvas we recommend you re-wax it at least every 12 months. This keeps the product water-resistant, mould resistant and it also binds the fibres together.

The S40 Multi-Sling is a very good multi purpose sling, it does the job very well. I purchased a new one to replace an older style shoulder strap. I will use the old one somewhere else. I do wish the older one was available for purchase because it also is handy for other bags. It has the brass clips on either end… maybe I could purchase the brass clips separately for the new sling? Now that would be awesome :)

I have several Jack Stillman items, every one of them is useful and practical, something not often seen anymore. JS gear is of quality and solidly built. My Drake bag is my daily for essentials and if I happen to need more room, I take either my Nomad or Solo Messenger bag. Just depends on my needs at the time.
