I live on Shetland one minute sunny the next rain and back again. This Poncho is perfect for here, keeps me dry out with the dogs and not over warm on a summer day. Great ventilation. Great for layering over a Shetland Gansie if it’s cold. Wish I bought one years ago. Handy bag to pack it away and drop in your rucksack. Built to last and real brass poppers. I would like to thank the stillman family for the Quality ponchos. The shipping was surprisingly faster than I expected. I unwrapped the ponchos to find two nicely made ponchos. I wearing on boat ,the Watergate was washing over the bow getting soaked with water so I thought. I got cup coffee checking the inside of the gear ,I WAS TOTALLY DRY ,the hood i liked easily pulled down to keep my neck and chest dry fron water spray the double layer in the hood is so much more quieter than nylon .being out on ocean the safety orange liner is a nice tool to have if ever needed in an emergency. The sides of poncho made it easy to close against the wind with a belt. I was surprisingly happy all i had to do was wear it.no waxing the poncho ready to wear and ready to go to work.the ponchos where perfectly paired with water spray over the bow of boat got very heavy at times no leaking from heavy water spray .wearing the poncho made easy to keep the saltwater out of my coffee on the walk back to the wheel house without having to get wet to do it.easy hang and dry on hook at door.nomore having to wear wet rain gear around wheelhouse till it dryed.i trying to pair your poncho with the easy-to-use gear boat shorts ,a pair of teva's a stillman poncho and a hoodie. Ended a day of perfect fishing .the poncho will be a welcome piece of KIT for bushcrafting if the sides get in my way cutting wood in the rain I put on a belt to keep rain Out while cutting wood easy problem fixed. Same fix it method worked while Driving my 74 motorcycle. I just rolled / folded sides towards backwards used belt keeps rain out. Incase your wondering there is room for two under the poncho she was thankful she didn't have to get wet in rain just to kiss me goodbye. I would like to thank U for a quality piece of KIT I appreciate the safe packaging the gear got to me in one piece not retaped several times before reaching me.the time received and time spent getting my gear was on spot timing. I was luck to get get it before go to work .the waves where breaking overhead off the bow if it wasn't for the adjustable hood i wouldn't have been able to keep me and my coffee dry .thank you folks for such a versatile piece of KIT thats so easy to work with ,god bless ya folks for gear thats as rugged as the job it's used on . Excellent design, great materials, really well put together, such attention to detail. Looks cool too. Weather’s been really mild so haven’t worn it in anger yet. Autumn seems to have shown up now and I’ll test it against the rain soon.

Beautifully made piece of kit! Looking forward to getting it wet. Been very hot and dry in the UK for a change, but winter is coming! Ordering was easy in the UK and dispatch details were clear on the website, this was a pre-order. Arrived within a day or so of the promise date which was excellent! Clear and timely communication throughout.

A genuinely well made and quality item. From the weight of the material, the hoood lining, zip and press studs…and even the storage bag it’s clear this has been made with care and pride. Not the cheapest and I must admit I’m still a bit confused about the offset side press studs in the centre. But looks great feels great and worth every penny.

Good for bushcraft and outdoor survival.
Tough waxed cotton poncho.
Where the material easily survives bushes and trees and rough stuff.
It’s also safe around camp fires. ( unlike the plastic ponchos).
It’s definately rain proof ( although not tested in intense and prolonged rainfall yet ) and blocks the wind off you’re body.
I use this poncho for bushcraft in woodland and farmland and shopping in town.
Even took this out on the hills on a walk ( was expecting it to blow everywhere like my plastic one. But due to the heavyweight material it stayed put. )

Poncho is tough and well made and will certainly stand up to many, many years of abuse. Packs neatly away into the provided sack and will be perfect for taking on hikes to provide over protection from the intense downpours that frequent our hills and coastlines. Will also be cool as festival wear in less favourable weather. Altogether a great poncho and one very happy customer.

First thing I can say on appearance is wow how well made this product is, you can see the time and effort put into this being put together, the look of my poncho was just perfect look like I’ve had it for years but its brand new but to me thats how I like things to look, it’s looks natural feels great…haven’t had a lot rain but so far it works perfect!
The size of the product at the time I wasn’t sure as Im a tall guy at 6ft 5 and was worried it wouldn’t fit like so many products i buy, I put it on and felt massive on me and that was just as important to the poncho keeping me dry.
If your thinking about a poncho from here do it you won’t regret a sound investment.

The poncho is awesome. I wanted something to protect from the rain during the summer when it’s hot. I don’t like umbrellas since everyone has them and you bump into everyone. A rain jacket has me sweating like a sauna. This was perfect and very well made. Feels rugged and well built, I’m sure it will last for a very long time.

Excellent service and excellent quality poncho thanks i have also ordered the Ranger poncho in Green and looking forwards to the end of the summer heatwave to get some rain exposure and overnighters done.I gave added my alpaca wool poncho to it for the colder nights it also retains heat when damp,so win, win. It now rollsza bit chunkier and wont go in the bag but pack great on my rucksack.

Love my poncho, keeps me nice and dry, I opted for no lining because where I am we have rain on warmer days aswell and if I need warmth I just throw on an extra shirt or jumper

Looks fantastic. Not put to the test yet but I’ve bought it for coppicing season which gets very wet but conventional waterproofs just don’t stand up to the harsh environment.
